Hey all, after crazy drop in temperature overnight, I discovered a new leak while warming up the disco in the AM. . . I do have an issue with my T Body heat plate that I am aware of (A guy had replaced it supposedly with genuine parts, but now I have leaks on the valve cover ever since...) But this leak appears different. It is coming from the bottom of the driver's side of the radiator area. What is this? I checked a few different visuals of the system, but did not see these connections mentioned.
Merry Christmas everyone!... so transmission cooler huh, I did not even know I had one of those.
Does anyone know what the common issues are or how to fix? I've seen a little bit on these quick connect fastners. I am jot sure if I need a new line, a new cooler, or of I just need to clean the fasteners and reconnect... I dont see a lot of genuine parts available anywhere for this. Who has had experience?
Also, how do I know if Ive lost a lot of transmission oil? Is it ok to drive local until I can source the part or am I stuck in the driveway. Thanks!

As far as I know, it's no longer available as a new part. ...which is quickly becoming a common theme about a lot of D2 parts these days. Your best bet is somewhere like Rover Land Parts (used) or removing one from a junkyard.
I do think however that someone posted a hack that circumvents the quick connects, but I can't recall where I saw it.
Boy it seems like these connectors are hard to find. I found what I think is the entire line on Rimmer Bros UK... but is there a solution that I could explore, just replacing the connector portion, or any other fixes?
This is what I've seen so far https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-UBP101610
But replacing the whole line will be a major pain.
P. T. Schram Rover Repair Land Rover Parts Service Was making custom dII trans cooler lines for a long time. He might still
be doing it. Shoot him an email or give him a call. He can be found on Facebook or discoweb too.

That’s actually for the engine oil cooler. They’re similar but not the same.
