So you're saying to rebuild it now vs. keeping it on?

It has grease fittings on it now.

Yes, stop driving it and rebuild it or order a new one with grease fittings.

Hi, all, as long as we're on the subject, I'm looking for the flush grease nipples and the boot. I just messaged Antichrist...but, as I'm here, anybody have or know where to get the flush nips and a new boot?
Thanks, onewingman

so are you saying after the new one the squeek and the vibrations are gone? did the old one or new vibrate?

Correct. The old one had some vibration and a squeak. When i took it off and compared the two the old one had massive play with the noises. After further inspection a couple cracks and chips were found. The new one had no play and has fresh grease in the joints. Once installed I took it for a spin and got up to about 60. The vibration was gone and there was no squeak. It was actually a little scary with the improvement and visual differences in the two. Makes me wonder how much time i had left on that old one. Now i'll be greasing it at every oil change.

Tom Woods and Great Basin Rovers are the two major players with a long history, especially GBR, with Land Rover propshafts.

Hey, you guys, Thanks for the referrals. I just need the boot. I was fortunatein that the ball in my CV wasn't toast. Local driveline shop re-jointed, w/ Neapcos, balanced and painted, with a boot that "fit" for $185...only problem is the boot is a beefy accordian that doesn't want to compress enough...I did install it...but it's gonna die! So, thanks again
