Default Front lamp guards install without drilling holes in the side fender

I got the Britpart front lamp guards gifted during Xmas, I kind of like them but the moment I realized I had to drill holes in the fender I lost the excitement, I don’t want to drill Holes in my D2 just to install an accessory. I get the drilling in the grill inside which will not be seen but the fender?? No way. Same as rear ladder install, I won’t ruin D2 with holes in the body just to install accessories.

that said, has anyone installed lamp guards without drilling holes in the fender? Perhaps magnets behind the fender or glue or something else less invasive?

I came up with a workaround, couple wood spacers and double sided Velcro. See my Instagram account for details @disco_rovey

I was going to suggest double sided tape. This is probably better. Good work.
