Default front output shaft

So I've had some play in my front driveshaft area and started looking around. The driveshaft is solid but the front output flange thing has play in it.

Earlyrover told me to tighten the nut securing it. I'm staring at it and don't have a big enough socket for it. So first question - what size is this thing? And how tight should it be??

From memory I believe the nut is 24mm and the torque setting is: "Tighten to specified torque, which is 146-179 NM" (or very, very tight in other words)

RAVE Manual = Drive flange nut 148 Nm (109 lbf.ft)
For tx front output shaft and casing check out RAVE Manual Section/page 41-8.

Thank you. I lack a copy of the rave on my phone so I appreciate it.

I'll be picking up the tools in a minute so hopefully this was the only problem.

I take it yours came loose too?

The nut that holds the flange on is like a 32mm or so.

Or 32... I'm driving to the auto part store again if anyone knows the size of that nut?

Its a 29-30ish mm nut. I tightened it but the problem seems to have gotten worse. Especially when I'm turning.
