Does anyone know if there's a difference between the various model LR's using the 4HP22 transmission? Or, for that matter, is there any difference between ANY 4HP22 transmissions?

Specifically, I'm trying to find an output shaft from one that will mate with my BW transfer case in the P38, but of course finding a bum P38 trans is proving difficult and I thought maybe the D1/RRC output would share the same spline count?

 

If it helps I can get you a pick of my output shaft from a D1. Maybe compare that with yours?

Thanks! Which side interfaces with the transmission? And how many splines?

 

Not next to it at the moment but I believe it's 24 spline female and 10 spline male. The male side goes into the transfer case.
