Hey guys,

I fianlly changed out my S model vinyl seats that were badly cracking with a set of black leather ones with the seat heaters and arm rests. I got them on Ebay for about $300 with shiopping and they are in great shape. The drivers side changed out fine and works great but my passenger seat won't go back as far as it used to.

Removing the seats requires repositioning it on it's trackway to access all of the bolts, etc. so the new seat had to be approx. in the same position on the base track when you it as the one you took out. I'm wondering what tells the seat to stop moving back or forwards when you hit the switch, is it mechanical like a stopper or is it electrical. The seat goes to the normal front position and stops but only goes about half way back before stopping firmly.

Any ideas?
