Default front prop shaft

I want to replace my front prop shaft on my 2004 Disco II. I have been reading up on this and am wondering who is the best. Atlantic British? Great Basin Rovers? Proshaft? I would like your opinions. I do like the 5 grease fittings (3 on the u-joints, 1 on the slip joins and the 1 on the cv joint) Who would you guys and gals reccommend?

Thanks in advance

John L.

I just replaced mine with one from AB and am happy with it .. Unless your planning on going big with your truck i cant see upgrading to an extra heavy duty shaft . AB is about the same price as a great basin from what i could tell but with AB you dont have to give up your core so you can have a back up you can rebuild..

AB is by far the most expensive for what you get. Rovers north's is Proshaft, GBR's is a great product from a great business. They'll all probably make you equally happy, though with AB's you'll have spent too much money.

I have a practically new driveshaft that came in on the '00 SE7 currently being parted. I don't know what brand it s but it looks just like the driveshaft I sold out of the '01 SE I just sent to the crusher. You can see photos of that driveshaft in the classifieds under he heading 1/16/13 Parting DII '01 SE Java Black.

I sold that one or $325 including shipping. If you'd like the one I have in the '00 let me know.

I suggest Tom Woods or Great Basin. They've been at it the longest.

Paul, that looks like a Tatton one, not positive though.

Roverich- AB's is $529.99.
