Front and rear driveshaft rebuilt
So I finally got done rebuilding both props and while i used to get vibration going 45 mph and anything over 70, I now only get vibration (about as bad as before the rebuild) over 70. I made the mistake of not marking the origination of how the props were bolted on. Could a simple balancing of both the shafts fix this? or maybe remove the bolts and rotate its location until i get it right?
May I never waste 18 hours of my life on rebuilding a drive shaft again....

you know thats crossed my mind, but i wouldn't know what i was looking for? The tires and the 2" lift are only about 3-4 years old (maybe 35k miles). Are we talking balancing and/or alignment? the steering doesn't feel like its off..
Balancing if anything.
As for the rebuild, did you replace the centering ball, did you rotate the u-joints so the grease fitting did not all face the same direction? I have heard some say that if all the grease fitting, especially when they are all on the caps, could effect the balance some.

yes, i replaced the centering ball. the grease fittings are all located on the cross. some of the fittings need to face a particular direction so that the bolts/nuts from the prop can be fitted back onto the truck. I'm going to attempt to rotate its location, then, if need be, i'll take both prop shafts to a driveline shop and have them balanced. i'll check back in w results.
I DID mark the yokes although at the eleventh hour (while throwing the shafts back onto the truck), i was 7 beers in and losing light, so i decided i didnt care how they went back in...just as long as they went back in. Note to self - don't expect Miller Lite to keep your composure for you...
so the props went back in and yokes facing the way they WERE supposed to but now i'm getting a slight vibration at 60mph. While this is something i can live w, is it possible to damage anything by not getting the shafts balanced? or could it possibly be something else? what leads me to believe that it can't be anything else is the fact that the vibration has been occurring at different speeds while i've been readjusting the prop shafts.
