Default Front and Rear Torsion Bar

I have a 2001 land rover Discovery II, I bought new bushings from Atlantic British P\n RBX101690G When replacing front and rear torsion bushing, Is it normal to have a gap in the bushing seam? It seem as if the inside diameter is to small to fit around the Torsion Bar.

You do not have torsion bars.

If you have torsion bars you should remove them.

Why not just tell him he's referring to anti-sway bars and not torsion bars, instead of saying, "you don't have torsion bars"?

Bit contradictory.

I would say yes it is okay to have a gap in the sway bar bushings. It tells me the bushing is squeezing the bar as hard as it can. If the seams touched together I would be concerned I didn't get a good bit on the sway bar. Make sense?

There are two different sway bar bushings. One set is for trucks that came factory w/ air bags in the rear. And another set for trucks that came factory w/ springs (non-air ride).

Bit contradictory.
Because I wanted him to think about what he was working on, the sway bars or the radius /trailing arm bushings.

Well I think 1 of 3 things happened
1. He needed bushings for a front sway bar and got rear sway bushings
2. He needed bushings for an ACE equipped bar and got normal sway bar bushings
3. He's trying to put sway bar bushings on a D1 rear radius arm

it is listed in the Rave manual as torsion/anti roll bar.
