Post Front wheel vibration & noise when cornering.

I have a vibration / noise symptom on a 2004 S, Left front wheel when cornering to the right, and therefore weight bearing on the left side.

When turning right with minimal power applied and accelerating I have a metallic 'twanging' (like a strong metal wire vibrating) noise / vibration coming from the left front wheel.
Thought it would be the shock absorber but it only happens when weight is applied over the left front wheel during cornering (at least at the moment.)
The right hand side is quiet. The noise is unnoticeable when driving straight. Brake feel (and effect) have not changed, neither has steering feel, effect or vibration.

Reading previous threads I think it's most likely the CV joint(s) and the driveshaft Universal joint.
Can anyone advise if these 'rover parts' URL's are the correct components?

CV Joint:
CV Joint Discovery II (TDR100790 Same Fit As Part # TDR100790 ) - Land Rover axles & casings-cv joints-bearings from Atlantic British

Universal Joint:
Land Rover Universal Joint - Propeller Shaft (Same Fit As Genuine Part # TVC100010)

Disco II 'S' from 2004.

Thanks for your help.

Any suggestions or comments in regard to the wheel bearing being the culprit?

Thanks for reading.

Have you ruled out the hub?
Not sure on part #s. Got my prop shaft parts at lps
The cv is repack able, though. I just buy a whole axle 1/2 from the reapers, pack it with new grease, swap them.....much cheaper.

If it's on the load bearing side when turning it's either the wheel bearing or CV joint. Hard to tell without hearing the noise. Wheel bearings can take ages to show any play but make a noise when turning particularly long fast bends. CV joints make a lot of noise/clattering particularly noticeable at lower speeds. I had a duff wheel bearing on the front RHS whilst still under LR warranty and they said there was nothing wrong that they could find but I could definitely hear it at over 60mph on long fast left hand bends. Two years later it gave up and I had to shell out £400+ for a new bearing/hub assembly to be fitted. So much for LR service reception diagnosis - wrong again but not at their cost.

How's the steering? feel a little more sluggish?

Could it be a ball joint in your steering knuckle, its a more rare case, but something to look for nonetheless.

Thanks Guys for the advice. It seems like the wheel bearing & CV joint are the prime suspects, with the steering ball joint needing to be checked, although steering feels unchanged.
