Front Windows not Working

Front Windows not Working
Less than 2 weeks into owning my first Land Rover and I cant get either the driver's or passenger front windows to go up or down. No noise I can detect when I hit the switches. The rear windows work fine. So, are there any known parts of the system that are prone to fail more than others? I checked the fuse, its fine. I don't think there is some kind of "child lock" switch that I can find. Do the motors fail usually? In vehicles I have had before, the power windows seem puke fairly regularly.
I have a 2002 SE.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Do you faintly hear a click from the passenger area near the glove box when you press a front window switch? If you do that will point to a problem further down the line. Broken wire in the black rubber boot between the body & door, or a dead motor.
With the door panel off, you should have 12v at the door motor electrical connector when you activate a window switch.

Thanks for the help so far. The front and rear window switches don't interchange, so I can't swap them and check. I also didn't find and blown fuses. I am getting the head gaskets replaced this weekend. In the mean time, the windows will have to remain nonfunctioning until it comes back.
Any other suggestions, beside checking for shorts in the circuits?

Hard to think this would be an issue with both going out at the same time but I would always check to see if a wire has snapped in the rubber housing that holds the wires that go into the door. That was my issue with my drivers front. ( I don't want to talk about what I replaced before I found the severed wire lol)
