Frontrunner has a terrific idea
This is one of those things I really wish I had thought of. Instead of storing a camping table in the vehicle or on top of the rack, they came up with a system that stores the table underneath the rack so it isn't taking up a bunch of space. The bracket is on wheels and so easily pulls out for use. It's pricey as well. The brackets will not work with my Safety Devices rack although I suspect there are adapters available somewhere. Has anyone done this? I would like to hear about a Safety Devices mounting experience but any experience would be great. Do they rattle? Are they a pain? Do they work as advertised and I definitely need one? Thanks.

I'd be willing to bet it rattles to some degree if on a rough road or washboards (what doesn't). If you can see how they did the sliding system I don't see why it couldn't be replicated. Might not be as quiet but if it's a fraction of the cost I could live with that. Also the SD racks are loud with wind noise already so that should mask a good amount of noise.
