Which Fuel Filter
I got bored and have been shopping at AB again. Going to place an order before I come home from work next time so I have something to do. Looking at fuel filters I am confused on which to get and what the difference is. Any input is appreciated.
These are the options.

The nearest place to me is the dealer. All the local auto parts places have proven to not have a clue about a Land Rover. Napa didn't even have a listing for the thermostat. But thanks for the tip Mike.
AK-I went with the first one, the one for $110, it was only $35 when I bought it...man, sorry.
Your fuel filter fittings will be rusted if it has not been changed in awhile.
I had to take a hack saw and cut the rubber fittings off the truck.
Becarful not to cut the fuel line. I cut longways on the top of the fittings then once a chunk of fitting was out I was able to split the fitting, or force it open in other words.
You will need the first kit to do it right and insure no leaks.
After that you cna buy just your fuel filter, replace it ONCE A YEAR and it will cost you $15, if you wait two years it will cost you $110.
I replace mine every spring and use anti seize on the fuel filter threads.
It will be a three hour job the first time, 15 min there after.

The only problem though is that he also needs the rubber hoses that come from the steel fuel lines to the fuel filter.
After that then he can buy just the filter.
Now I should add AK, before you order anything se if you can get your filter loose first.
If you can unscrew it then all you need is the filter and not the fuel lines.

Thanks, I am going to yank my running boards off tomorrow so while I'm under the truck I'll check out the fuel filter. It's nice to be home for 2 weeks with nothing important to do but work on the truck.
