Changed the diesel fuel filter and the air valve today along with checking the turbo wastegate actuator is operating correctly. Also replaced the crankcase breather depression valve as it was the original fitted. I didn't notice any appreciable difference but the fuel filter was due for a change and the air valve was the original and now the fuel pump sounds completely different rather than totally muted noise.
