Default Fuel Injectors?! Yellow? Ford?

I’ve had trouble finding info on this, I remember someone installing Ford 19# injectors? Someone had yellow ones? Anyone with experience swapping out injectors please point me in the right direction?

You can buy Bosch remanufactured 4.0/4.6 injectors for $60-$80 a set(all 8) on ebay.
Put some vaseoline on the o-rings and pop them in place.
Remove upper intake, unbolt fuel rail, lift out, replace, done.
Cheap and easy fix.

They are bench tested with new screens and o-rings too.
I put a set in a year or 2 ago.

Alright, cool I’ll check those out. Did I completely dream up the Ford injector thing? Who makes the yellow ones?

No a lot of folks were using a Bosch injector for a Ford a few years back for an improvement in the nozzle set up. So your not dreaming it up it was a thing

Bosch 280155746 from an 87-98 Jeep 4.0L/97-98 Volvo worked excellent in any 3.9L or 4.2L, GEMS 4.0L, or GEMS 4.6L. Not sure which ones cross reference with the Bosch 4.0/4.6L.

The Ford injectors were an upgrade for the GEMS motor. They will not work in the Bosch fuel rail setup, and the injector nozzle design is nearly identical to those used in the Bosch injectors anyway.
