Default Fuel Pump

We just replaced the fuel pump less than a week ago. I drove it fine for the past few days and tonight, when leaving work, it wouldn't start again. I'm ready to trash the car! Its doing the same thing as before the pump was replaced, it just won't turn over/catch. Any ideas???

Default RE: Fuel Pump

Did you replace your fuel filter? I would also suggest you replace the fuel pump relay.
Next time you go to start the truck, turn the ignition to the start poisition and then off 3 times. This will prime the fuel system. If this allows the truck to start then I would suggest you do a fuel pressure test when cold before starting and at idle and 2000 RPM's.
It is also possible you migh have a crank sensor starting to fail. If this happens, there will be no signal sent to the ECU show that the engine is turning over so the injectors won't be fired.
