Default Fuel Pump E3270 Replacement

can anyone tell me how to actually get the pump out from inside the black cylinder that is holding it?? I am in the middle of replacing mine and cannot get the pump out... 04 D2 92000 miles

nevermind i got it out, and fyi for anyone else that ever goes through this, dont buy the e3270, it does not fit, at all, wires or the pump itself, maybe for the d1's but not an 04

another fyi...the airtex E8335 is a direct replacement for the d2....by the grace of God the guy at Advance and I found it in the back of his store, put them side by side and it is identical....just installled it, no problems

I found out myself that the 3270 doesnt fit as well, totally different wire connector and looks wider as well. I also had issues getting mine out so gave in and bought a sender since it was my only vehicle and I was going on vacation the next day, didnt have time to mess and pray.
