Default Fuel Pump question

Hey guys im looking on rover parts and they have two fuel pumps for a 97 Disco 1

http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/WFX101020K.cfm
That which is a Fuel Pump and sender - Advance Evap System

and this one http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/ESR3926K.cfm
which is a Fuel Pump kit for disco 1 '97 Non-AEL system Vehicles only

How can I tell which one to get?

The reason for me going with a new fuel pump is my rover is cranking but not starting, and each time i turned the key in to the on position I didn't hear the fuel pump coming on line. Thanks

THere used to be a tab telling you. Pop your hood and look for a sticker that has your emissions family. Also look at your build date. Get back with those and I can tell you...

Im wondering if something is shorting out, as we just had a big change in temp in the last 24 hours (21 degrees diffrence, and its about 90% humidity out there)

Check your fuel pump relay and make sure it is kicking on.

This will tell you.
Atlantic British has a tech section and you can find TONS of info on there to help with repairs.
Disco Web.org is another one.

The advanced emissions control collects the gas vapors from the gas tank and returns them to liquid and then returns it to the gas tank. That is the short version.
