Fuel Pump Replacement
hey guys, the %#^%$% fuel pump went out the day after i get the ignition issue resolved....yeah its definitely a series 1...j/k....not really........LOL
anyway, I'm going to use the MASTER E3270 motor replacement instead of the entire thing as only the motor has gone bad. Before I immerse myself in this does anyone have anything I should know about before hand. I plan on dropping the hammer tomorrow morning....!!!!!!!!

I'm going to do the same w/same pump.
I think if your smart enough (you are) to know where it is, you won't have any trouble.
The stickler sometimes are the electrical connections, but no horror stories.
NO SPARKS
luck,greg

check out this thread. I did a pump only swap on my DI awhile back. It was a piece of cake. Plug and play. Here is the link:

Best of luck. Mine is working great and I no longer am having any codes show their ugly heads.

Be sure you use fuel injection hose clamps on the internal connections.
Make sure they are well clear of the open contacts (sparks in a petrol tank are bad).
I'd replace the strainer while you have it out. Delco TS7

I didnt have time to post anything else earlier, but yeah the link was to provide a guide for removal.... i know i had a tricky time disconnecting the lines on my first one. He should take pictures on his repair so we can add it!
