Default Fuel shortage - running regular gas

There's been a shortage of 89-93 octane fuel in our area. We've been lucky and have found high octane fuel each time we've needed gas so far. If the shortage continues and we have to use regular 87 octane should we use an additive?

Thanks

Bo. Dont waste your money on a octane booster. It is ok to run regular gas as long as you dont do it for weeks on end.
A tank or three wont hurt anything other than MPG.

If you have to run a number of tanks of 87 octane, use one can of a good gas additive like, Chevrons Techtron, SeaFoam or B&G's 44K to clear out any build up.
