Fun Colorado snowrun today
Went with my local club, Western Slope 4 Wheelers, on a fun deep snow run today in the foothills of the Uncompahgre Plateau west of Montrose,CO. My 97 D1 and 7 Wranglers. Boy did we have fun plowing up and down numerous trails thru the Pinyon/Juniper woodlands. We all got stuck at least once except for one massive Wrangler rock crawler who pulled a bunch of us out when we got stuck. Very different than most of our snow runs as it was abnormally warm in the 40's so the snow was wet, packed, and very slick. We had amazingly poor traction even though we were all locked front and rear in this wet snow. Normally we go on frigid runs thru deep, dry, powder snow. We had great canyon views and great views of the towering San Juan Mtns 25 miles south. A good time had by all and nobody broke down. I am the only LR in the club and get some good hearted ribbing but they know I can run with them. If you have never been on a deep snow run then do so if you have the chance to go with a group. Great fun.

I don't own a cell phone. Don't want one. One of the worst inventions ever in my opinion. I watch my sons with a phone literally glued to their ears 24/7 and know I don't want one.
