gap for Bosch Plus 4
This could be a dumb question BUT just got home with new set of Plus 4 plugs and happened to notice printed on the box the words "never needs gapping". Really?
Now this is the first time I have ever used these plugs so that claim made me stop to ask someone here who has used these plugs before - you do gap these, right? My spec calls for .038 to .042, and my plan was to go with .042.

I do not think that the Bosch Plat 4's need to be gapped, but see if other people will confirm.

Check and see if the electrode is incased in ceramic, if it is that means that it doesnt wear down and it comes pre-gaped. And with a multi grounded plug plug you cannot really gap them yourself anyway.

The spark will only jump the smallest gap in the 4 anyways and I think that 0.010 is pretty small to allow proper fuel burn.

The spark just "starts" the fuel burn. The fuel/air mixture then burns on its own. I don't think the small gap will influence the fuel burn as long as it "starts" the burn.
