Did you not grasp the fact I did not understand a multi grounded plug did not require gapping? Feel better now?

OKay.....now how do you explain all the different gap applications based on ignition and engine management systems ??? I think you need to start doing a little research and read about ignition systems, plug wires and the other ABCs because there is heck of a lot more into ignitions, than just needing a spark, any spark.

The spark just "starts" the fuel burn. The fuel/air mixture then burns on its own. I don't think the small gap will influence the fuel burn as long as it "starts" the burn.
