Default Gas Gauge Woes

I have some gas gauge woes and its not that I get 15MPG.

It works some times, others it doesn't, sometimes it shows full tank. Most of the time it is on empty. Its done this for thousands of miles now, even with a new ECU, sending fuel pump, and cluster.

Would anyone be able to tell me where the wire goes from the sending unit to the ECU? I think at this point its the only possibility left. Everything else is new.

thanks

Do you have the RAVE electrical manual? It's very helpful for these type of situations...

RAVE was a huge help, thank you.

Traced the two wires from the sender to the cluster, and one was a bit shaky. I ran two new wires from the cluster, up through the ceiling, and down to the carpet in the back. No more issues!!!!

And that was the last of the issues. I've named the truck "Brick" as it is brick red and shaped like a brick. 170k miles down and maybe 2000 more this winter and I'll sell it. Hopefully no more issues.
