General Grabber Prices?
I have been doing alot of research on tires and I think i am leaning toward the General Grabber AT. But right now I am having a hard time finding the prices per tire. General's websites says contact a dealer for specific prices. But before I do that I want to know what all you General Grabber owners paid for your tires. Obviously this is directed at a specifc crowd but I hope someone will chime in.
The size I am looking at is 255/55/18
Even if thats not the exact size you have I am still curious to know what you paid per tire. Any help is appreciated! THANKS!

I was looking at a set for my Blazer, 31x10.50x15 (265/75/15), and they're $99 per tire. Check TireSavings.com but most brick and mortar stores can get a set of Generals, they just have to order them.
Wow..much more expensive than for my 15s..wow..[X(]

Do you guys know what a tire shop would charge for them? Wolfpack, if you found that size for $99 at a store, then my guess is my size would be in the range of $120-$150. That could be way off, but if its anywhere close I will be happy with that. It says my local Land Rover dealer sells them but who knows what kind of price they would charge, plus the labor cost. Hopefully the tire shop down the street from me sells them, I will have to go check that out this weekend.
Just get out the yellow pages and a note pad, start calling and getting prices.
Tire shops are used to that. If you dont shop around then you are not a informed buyer.
If you call three shops and they are all the same price then go with the shop that you like or is closest to you.

Well I am aware of that, I wanted to know what others had paid for theirs in order to do a little comparison shopping when I call around. Thats the next step, but thanks anyways! I like to do side by side shopping, beyond the stores, before I jump into a big payment, such as tires. And of course I like to be a little educated before I call and sound like an idiot, if you dont do your research then you're not an informed buyer!

Alot of people just to to the tire shop and walk in the door and say, I need tires. I was hoping that you were not that kind of buyer.

Yea I just had to start calling places to find the Generals..otherwise it's gonna be an online purchase. It is worth noting though that my local Just Tires, who I've always used for my tire needs so to speak, were trying to charge me $680 for the 31' Generals including mounting (no balance). TireSavings.com was gunna be something like $450 shipped. Just do the research online, and compare the online prices to the quotes from the tire shops (that was my play book anyway[8D]).
FWIW I decided on Kuhmo Road Venture KL78s for the Blazer. 31x10.5 and only 93/tire online
