Default Getting Ready to do headgaskets on 03

Has anybody bought the gasket kit from Rovers North? They are made by pro-line, the kit is $129 and the studs are on sale for $39. Seems to be a pretty good price. Also is there a write up on here with pictures?
thanks

That's cheap...
I used the AB set so I cannot comment on the Robers North kit.
As for write up or pictures... download rave - that is your best resource.

This link might be useful to you, it was an interested read for me at the very least.

I also got the gasket kit from AB with the bolts from Rovers North. That's a good price though.

The HG set at AB are Elring, which is supposed to be the best.

I am in the middle of this job and the first bolt ( purchased the Atlantic British head bolt kit) that I was tightening on the heads snapped!! I got lucky and was able to spin it out with my fingers. I went by the dealership and picked up the factory head bolts and they were about the same price as the Atlantic British kit ($87). And YES I am using a calibrated torque wrench and YES I followed the RAVE!! I was not going to put the rest of the Atlantic British Kit in my motor.

I purchased an AB upper/lower intake kit and had the same thing happen. I was using a cheapie torque wrench that was having issues but I was only slightly past the upper intake torque setting of 38 (i think) lbs. I attributed it to the torque wrench, but now that you mention it...hm, AB aint looking so good right now.
