Getting ready to work on the WABCO thingy
I am going to follow the guide and redo the seals (I just got the kit today) and re do the wiring. What should I have to be ready? Tools? Wires? Anything else?
Thanks.
Thanks.
A ratcheting set of flare nut wrenches will make the job a little easier and faster but not required.

you should use a flarenut wrench you can get a nonratching set very cheaply,
the odds are a standard openend wrench will work, but will probably round the flare nuts. buy a cheap set you will find other uses for them.

Did you get your codes read, is the ABS module the only problem or are you guessing? Make sure you do get the codes read, there are about 16 different reasons for the 3 Amigos. Also do a full 2 quart brake flush when you are done.
Are the flare nut wrenches for the rebuild metric or standard? I only have an SAE set. I've been pricing out a metric set for a while now, just never had a reason to buy one, and notice a lot of sets don't have the 9mm-11mm wrench. Assuming I need a metric set, do I need the 9mm-11mm wrench for this project?
Thats the set I'm looking at, but it doesn't have the 9mm-11mm wrench. I know its a commonly used wrench, just want to make sure before I invest the $15 that I don't need that specific wrench. Already replaced the brake lines with ABs stainless set.

standard metric flair nut wrench will work, I could drop one off after work some night.
I also have a spare Wabco modulator valve rolling around in the back of my Disco next to my spare heads, if you want to do the conversion on myspare one and then just swap them out your welcome too. It might save you some down time.
