Default glare from lights on rack

so the lights up on my roof rack cause a pretty bad glare through the windshield... would reversing the brackets to make the lights sit further towards the rear of the vehicle help this issue?

I think the lights may have to go further back than is practical. You should look into getting some metal plates that "cup" under the lights around the 4-8 o'clock positions and stick out 4-6". I'm sure there's a name for them, but I can't think of it right now.

well as they are now my lights are 4-5 inches back from the windshield... if i flip the brackets i think it would move them back an additional 2 maybe 4 inches... i think i am just gonna have to try it at least and let everyone know how it works out... sucks though since i just spent like an hour earlier tonight getting them aimed properly...
