Default goodyear duratrac update (buy some)

so i installed my duratrac's last week and this week seattle has been hit by snow and ice.

update is to go out and buy these tires if you are in the market for tires.

on snow they were lights out and going up the icy hills of seattle and the mountain lowlands 30min outside of seattle where many cars and SUV were ditched i was able to pull my way along with a smile on my face and never had a slip a slide or a moment of OH CRAP.

never needed to lock the diff even in the ice. they gripped and crunched along and the only other vehicle i saw having as little issue as me was a red D90 that was modified. and with my lift and tires i felt almost as manly as he.

Sloppyjoe, what'd you pay? I put a set of General Grabbers on last fall with similar results (20% grade and 8" of snow without wheel slip). The Grabbers ran me ~$110/ea.

You got it the right time. Perfecto! I got mine for 10 months now. Got the same perfect timing after they got installed. Very good tires.

Post some pics of your tires Joe!

Some of the guys at work are running those on their Sprinters this winter.

I am running these on my drive axle this year and Firestone Destination A/T's on the steer axle.

Its a Sprinter, that is my work van, it is a Mercedes Benz. (its made in Frankfurt Germany)
During the Mopar-Mercedes merger they put Dodge's name on them. (I can buy a MB badge kit if I wanted too)
Mercedes bought Freightliner trucks so they also imported the van's and then put Freightliner emblems on them.
So yes, I drive a Dodge Sprinter long wheel base high top with a TD5 for my daily driver.
It is a '06 and it now has 202,000 miles on it.

Did you get those at Wal-Mart? They sell those now but they are not called Dura Trac's.
