Default Goodyear Gatorback Serpentine Belt

UPDATE.
I believe that the Goodyear Gatorback Poly-V belts are now made by CONTINENTAL. I don't believe there is a difference between the 4.0 and 4.6 belt lengths, the only difference will be if you have ACE or not. I think these are the correct part numbers and lengths below.

(These lengths are only for vehicles running A/C)
4.0 or 4.6 with ACE- (106.5") CONTINENTAL 4071065
Amazon.com: Continental Elite 4071065 Poly-V Belt: Automotive Amazon.com: Continental Elite 4071065 Poly-V Belt: Automotive

4.0 or 4.6 without ACE- (92.3") CONTINENTAL 4070923
Amazon.com: Continental Elite 4070923 Poly-V Belt: Automotive Amazon.com: Continental Elite 4070923 Poly-V Belt: Automotive

Just make sure you get the right length, there are several lengths of D2 belts.

They are supposed to be great belts. I know the Corvette community swears by them.

They are great. We use them on supercharged cars just to reduce belt slip.

Used it on my Jaguar XJR Supercharged. Never an issue.

Gates is good too. Interesting slash pattern on the ribbed part of the Goodyear.

Yeah, it produces better traction in the mud.

Are you happy with the belt? Is it an improvement over the factory belt?
Thanks

Make sure you route it correctly. I had a specialty shop route mine wrong and eat up my new water pump they installed running it backwards. Noticed this when I went to install the new pump, and looked at the pictures I took when I took it off to repair, and then compared to the belt routing in RAVE. Was not happy, but did figure how what went wrong.

I replaced the water pump myself as I was out of town, lesson learned. I will never pay someone to replace my water pump again, unless extreme circumstances force me to. Education does have a cost, one way or the other, but each of these new skills, is so transferable to other vehicles. I have learned more at a much later age than many on this forum about vehicles with this rover, and any vehicle I have had. Thanks very much to the forum members for all their education notes!

I'm thinking about buying one of these - is this the non-ACE belt length?
