Glad you got some, you will def be impressed even off road to !!..................just wish my michelins would wear out so I have an excuse to buy mine !!!

If your interested to see what they are like / can do, watch this video, this is a standard Disco 2 on General Grabber AT2's

Ref fitting different tyre sizes, if you look here, I have a little calculator that will work out the differences for you, bear in mind that any diff bigger than + /- 2.5% will affect your speedo accuracy.

Here is a link to a cool little tool that will show you the difference in tire sizes. It's actually really cool as it also shows how far off your speedo will be, too.

Andrew, if your disco is stock and you intend to keep it that way, I would recommend going with a 255/70-16. They fill the wheelwell really nicely

Humroot, that Miata tire size calculator is GREAT! Just bookmarked that site. Very cool, and gave me exactly the information I was looking for, including speedometer reading differences...

Nice Cam, new tires are always fun. Whatever happened to your hood blackout, did you get a replacement yet?

I love those tires. I was going to go with the BFG All Terrains, but I'll have to look at the Generals now. How much did you pay for them?
Sorry guys I have been out all day so I wasnt here to answer your questions, but this thread was pretty popular I see! Anyways, I paid 175 each and that was get considering how hard it was to find an AT tire for 18"s. I am taking them out tomorrow!

Yeah I got the replacement on wednesday. I was really happy with Vigg designs, they were very helpful and fast with the replacement, it came in 2 days. I would suggest anyone in the market for one go through them. Thats another thing I would like to do tomorrow... install the hood blackout and go off roading! Sounds great to me!

---oh yeah, i will get some pics of that too.

The BFGs are a litttlleeee different...the AT2s actually have graduated tread gaps..so not every one is the same height! Gives an extra layer of grip! Also the tread rating is 640AB. And it offers a warranty..the BFG has no warranty, much less a 65k one

Can't wait to see some pics with the new tires all dirty!

BF Goodrich will send a tow truck to pull out if you get stuck
no charge, its part of their new Pro-mo.
I guess they know you will not get stuck.

Nice tires.
