Default Got my '02 Westminster D2 last night

Finally picked up my '02 Westminster D2 last night. Not a whole lot different for the '99 D2 I had. It has nicer wood trim on the doors and above the glove box but the wood center console and wood overlay by the radio and HVAC controls looks cheap. For being a special edition there isn't much special about it and it doesn't even have seat heaters. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it did not have ACE or SLS. It does have a factory hitch on it which is nice because I plan on borrowing my uncles jet skis next summer and possibly getting a tent trailer. It has a folder about 3/4" thick of its service records that start when it had just a couple thousand miles on it. I'll take some pictures today and post them when I get home. If anyone has a standard black plastic center console piece and a black radio/HVAC trim let me know and we can work out a deal.

Congrats! Bet you are glad to be back in a Disco.

Does it have a "Special Vehicles" badge on the rear gate? A badge on the radiator shroud?

It has a badge that says Westminster on the lower right corner of the rear door, I haven't noticed anything on the shroud but it was raining when I picked it up so I didn't spend much time outside under the hood.

The Westminsters aren't any better than the fully loaded Discoverys, in fact some don't even have all of the options. What makes them special is that they have a different type of: wood trim, rims, and interior color.

The Metropolis just makes me wish my interior was gray.
