Default Got my new tires/lift/exhaust!!

Well I have done a bit of wrenching and I have to say I am very happy with the results. I put a 2" TF lift, 275/65-18 BFG T/A Ko2's, and cut off my resonator and muffler and put a TotalFlow super 10 on her. Between the tires and the lift I got almost 4" of lift. I am very happy with the tires. The ride is WAY better then with the stock tires and there is little to no road noise. There is no rubbing at all when turning. The muffler was a pleasant surprise. I had originally planned on a Flowmaster Super 40 but found these TotalFlow mufflers on Amazon for a 1/4 the cost. I welded it up and simply smile every time I turn her on. There is interior drone when traveling on the highway but it really isn't that bad.

It was a lot of work but worth it. I am getting rid of the TF logo in the back windows. I thought it would look cool but after I installed them I don't really like it. I think I am going to make a small black Union Jack and put it below "SE". I am also going to do some carbon fiber accents on the rims.

I've been contemplating adding the Terrafirma sticker to my windows.

I like it I just made it to big

I am working on a tire cover right now. I own a sign shop so I am able to make pretty much anything but that is also a hindrance because it is difficult to land on something.

Did you purchase the HD lift or Medium Duty lift?

Did id you install a damper and shock towers?

If so how’s the ride?

Sorry, im just curious I ordered the 2in MD with towers and stabilizer about an hour ago.

I installed the hd tf 2 lift with towers not long ago
rides nice the towers from ab are heavy duty
my stock towers looked ok until you take them out
mine fell in my hands on pieces

went off-roading and new suspension felt great

I heard if you buy the HD option with out weight added to the rover such as bumpers bumpers and racks you’ll need to replace the drive shaft or you’ll have lots of vibration.

I hope i made the right choice with the medium duty

I don’t think this is true
from the research on the forum 3 inch and above you may start to have problems
the HD is not a higher lift just the springs are stiffer but height is the same

my 03 rides like stock on 2 inch lift and HD

The ride was better until I put the "E" load tires on it. With the tires it rides like a solid truck. I thought about replacing the tires but I got a crazy deal on them and I really like the way they look. I don't tow very much and the most off roading she will see are the horrible roads around here, which are worse then some rock trails in some places. I don't plan on doing bumpers or anything so the MD springs seemed like the right choice to lift her up.
