Default Got a new hood.

As you may recall a tree fell on my DII and squished the hood. Well after looking everywhere for a black hood I finally found one. I got it from Paul Grant and only had to drive 640 miles round trip to pick it up. My family now officially thinks I have lost my mind but I got sick of look at my ssad cross eyed truck.

Thumbs up to Paul Grant who drove 150 miles to meet me. I guess he has tons of parts so if you need anything email him:

Yeah I will snap some pics, right now I am in the middle of replacing a rear hub but its so cold out I am procrastinating. Note to self buy that propane heater off of craigslist. I'm tired.

It was worth it as most hoods I found were damaged and or cost $150 to ship. My local yards told me theycould not recall the last time they had a good black hood in or a decent shape hood in general. Then say if I went with the burgundy hood from will tillery for $400 shipped it would cost another $400 to strip and paint it. So for $200 plus $70 of my own gas (thanks dad for the full tank in the pickup) I got a better hood then I had in the first place.

I was wondering what a Series or Defender hood thread was doing in the Disco section.

Glad you found a replacement bonnet.

Leave the hood off, it will look cooler that way, and even better if you put some neon lights under there too.
