Default grease zerks

How many grease zerks should I have on the front DS? I could only find 2, 1 on the u joint at the front diff and 1 on the DS near the front. Couldn't find any on the u joints at the
transfer case. The DS was replaced about 10k ago.

There should be a total of 4 grease fittings on the front drive shaft. The 2 you are missing are the ones that hook to the front of the t/case, get them replace with 2 servicable u-joints and a new centering ball joint befor they fail, and they do fail.

Thanks Mike. I guess when the DS was replaced they didn't upgrade the u joints.

if your drive shaft is only 10,000 miles "old" its highly unlikely it will fail for aVERY long time yet

You need to ask to have the upgrade done when you have the DS rebuilt. They wont just do it. But like UrbanPanzer said, you will be good for awhile.
