Default Gun racks?

Did a quick search but nothing recent popped up.

Has anyone mounted a rifle rack in one of these beasts? The season is coming and I've always hated just throwing ANY longarm on the seat or floor. Other than across the rear seatback I have'nt come up with any good ideas yet...

Oh and as for legality, I'm in Nevada. Pretty sure I could mount my AR to a roof mounted swivel and as long as there wasn't one in the chamber I'd be legal

I have seen one guy install a dog divider in the back of his Disco II and mounted a gun rack to that.

Not sure how much the dog dividers go for.

Well the TruckVault guys claim they can install their vaults in a Discovery. However, I've never actually seen any pictures of one installed (and it certainly won't be a cheap option).

If you were smart, you wouldn't use a rifle rack and advertising you have rifles you want stolen, it happens a lot.

I hear ya, but this is for to and from only. I won't leave a gun in the truck for many reasons. I take some offroad trails to get to my shooting spots and like to have them safe and secured from bouncing around. When I get home they immediately come out of the truck, get cleaned and go back in the safe.

What about using something like one of these?
Police Gun Racks
They have single and double racks that can be mounted in different locations and are pretty much universal. The nice part is you can put the lock release wherever you want it.
Just a thought.
