I have a 2003 DII SE w/ 133K miles. The head gaskets have been changed in September. Along with the gaskets, they changed the belts/hoses and t-stat. I just started to get P0216.
I searched the forum for the code but haven't seen anything about it. My mechanic recommended replacing the thermostat and doing a system flush! I called Atlantic British and they sent me a new t-stat since it is under warranty (although they said that thermostats are rarely bad!).
I am wondering if that might be something different. Anybody had any experience with this code?
