Default has anyone tried different plug wires?

i know everyone raves about the magnecore 8mm wires, but i have heard the Kingsborne 8mm are just as nice and less than half as much money.

has anyone tried both and can make a comparison? what about the Mags makes them worth an extra $50?

I've bought a set of Bosch Platinum +4 already, despite their poor repute on Dweb...

I took one for the team and tried the 8mm Kingsbourne plug wires...I now have the 8mm Magnecor wires on my truck.
I am using AutoLite Iridium spark plugs.

As hard as it is to replace the wires, why would you put some cheap wires on, just to replace them in a few months. Magnacor's are about $100 a set and worth every penny of it.

I'm willing to pay the extra money... I'm just wondering WHY they're better.

Do the others just stop working after a few months or something?

Everyone says the Mags are the way to go, but I haven't been able to find any empirical comparisons between them and any others...

Do they use better materials, or a different design or something?

I have no idea why they are better.
The Kingsbourne plug wires felt and looked as well built and like they used just as good of material as the Magnecor's.

I'm sure I'll get flamed but I'm using CarQuest 7mm wires and NGK plugs. No problems so far..... at least plug wires on a D1 are easy to replace.
