Have radio code, now what? am I a 95 or a 96 owner?

Have radio code, now what? am I a 95 or a 96 owner?
I found in the ash tray the 5 digit radio code.....the original radio/cassette/DVD player is supposed to work, but currently I only get the national weather service channel. Does the service manual cover this? Also, the date of manufacture for my Land Rover is December 1995...am I an owner of a 95 or 96 Discovery?
