Thanks Mike and Spike...

So I tried Sea Foam, in the gas and the intake... no change...

for some reason it seams that when I start the rig and drive it up to 200 feet that it feels good... but after 200 feet it bogs down and starts missing... Probably a Coil then???

btw... any wright ups on intake manifold removal...

No writes ups that I know of.
You will need a new intake gasket though.

I wouldn't throw any more parts at it till you scan the coil and the injector for signals.

No, you must use a intake gasket, if you dont you are taking a huge risk in a leak as well as getting some RTV sucked into the engine and messing up your O2's.

No use the proper gasket it's fairly cheap and is a metal composite material. The Rave CD/Shop Manual has directions on how to remove the upper IM. Any mechanic with a good scanner should be able to read the spark plug voltages to see if any are getting stuck open or responding slow.

Thanks for the heads up guys...

I kinda already put it together with rtv... ooppps... Hopefully it doesnt cause an issue...
How can rtv clog a o2 sensor??? I smeared it on either side of the old gasket.

I was not able to find anyone who even sold this gasket... Maybe I should have looked harder

RTV is silicone based, and when you put the parts back together it gets squished out and since you cant clean up whats on the inside it will fall down/get sucked into the engine.
Silicone wont burn, it will melt and stick to stuff.
This is a what if, you may be fine.
www.atlanticbritish.com, book mark it, read the tech tips at the bottom of the main page, they are the only new parts supplier you will need.
If they dont list it on the site then call them.

fudge... you know I have used rtv in the past... its so weird, it seems with any other vehicle I have ever owned I have been able to repair items and not worry about exactness... if it holds, it worked... lol... however with my rover I am ubber worried about every repair ever time, to make sure its right... Honestly I have been debating doing the intake manifold for the coil pack for about a month now... We will see what happens but it was only a one hour job. and the coils where only 100 bucks... my old coils looked horrible, even black on the inside so I am guessing that they where going to go if they hadn't already. I spent more time trying to find a way around removing the intake manifold than just doing it.
