Hello

I have a 2000 disco II. I had to replace my instrument panel several yrs ago due to the previous owner removing the 3 amigo leds instead of fixing. Last week I had to rebuild the ACE system and noticed that the warning lights didn't come on when the ignition is turned to prestart. The rover specialist i went to says the ACE is working fine which I already knew. He stated that when he checked the ecm it was set correct. His theory is that since the replacement panel was not from a ACE equipped rover that the panel cannot be "reflashed".

The leds are present in the replacement board but do not light up. Any ideas?
ACE system is working fine but will have no idea if there is a warning.
