Default HD Springs

I have been looking and can't find the answer to my question and it's too late to call AB so I'll ask here.

Are there stock height HD springs available for the D1? I'm still deciding whether to put a lift or not but I know I want a winch so HD springs and shocks are going to be required either way. If I have to go with the lift it's not a big deal but I would like to know if there are other options.

Yes there are, that is what I am going to do.
I do not like nor want a lift so I am going to go with these HD springs sometime in the future.
I hope this year.

Thanks Spike. The ARB springs that you posted actually are lift springs. I called AB about the OME lift and those are the sprigs included with the lift. The blue springs I'll have to check into more.

I did not know that those ARB springs were lift springs, it does not say that on the site so I just assumed...
I plan on going with the blue springs, they are made by Maybach. Big in the UK.

I called AB because I they didn't list the kit as a lift kit. What I was told is that those are 2" lift springs.
I know that just by replacing the factory springs I will get a little extra height over my settled springs. Just not sure if I want additional height over that.

I have no interest in a lift.
I am to short, my wife is to short, my kids cant climb in, it wont fit in a parking ramp and most of all I do not like them.
I dont need or want huge tires, I dont rock crawl so I have no need for one.
But hey, each to his own.

I completely understand. I was totally convinced I wanted a lift until I sat down and actually analyzed what I want to use the truck for. I'm 5'11" so the extra height isn't an issue for me. I realized that the HD springs at stock height will support the winch I want on the front end and improve my ride over what it is currently. It's obvious that my springs and shocks need replaced. I also want to be able to use air helper springs inside the rear coil when I have to tow with the Rover.

If you need a winch, a little lift wouldn't hurt either. Go for a 2" lift it's not extreme, and doesn't require you to change a lot of parts that comes with a 3". And you may not need to use the winch as much. Just throwing that out there.

I've never put a winch into the need category. It is definitely a want. I had a winch on my 85 GMC and only used it a few times. I think I spooled the line out and respooled it more than I ever actually used it to pull anything. It was a life saver when I drowned the motor though.

I'm still undecided at this point. What I figure I'll use the truck for and what I enjoy doing doesn't require a lift especially on an already capable vehicle like the Rover. The winch is just a nice thing to have for when I get a little too brave or to help someone else.
