Default HEAD GASKET TIME !!

[X(]OK !!! I'm tired of the little puddles of coolant where everI park, I'm going to replace the lh head gasket soon ( '98 with 4.0 & 138,000 mi.) the voice of experience would be appreciated here...I assumeI should do both sides.....knock on wood the engine runs fine......but should I replace the lifters while I'm that deep or only if I put in a new cam also ?? all comments welcome !
thanks

Do both heads, put a straight edge to both of them and if still level, leave the heads alone. Buy the head gasket set from either Atlantic British or Rover Connection, also replace all the head bolts with Rover only bolts.
Don't worry about the lifters unless ytou are sure some are failing and then do the cam also.
Inspect the rocker are, they are prone to wearing out and being noisy.
Consider doing an ATF engine flush to loosen up some of the internal engine sludge.
