Any problems using atlantic british head gaskets for $160, and new bolts for $80?

I just bought my first house, and while moving today the disco decided to blow a head gasket!!! Is there any major reason not to use the AB set that's $300 less than the genuine? I've just put every dime into buying this house.

I see no reason not to use the AB set, they sell quality stuff.

Thanks, It was a forcloseure. I picked it up for less than half of what it sold for two years ago! I feel guilty benefiting from someone else's misfortune, but someone's going to get it.

I'm going to try and get those gaskets done this week, any surprises to look out for, other than head bolts? My cousin is a diesel mechanic, and he says the stretch bolts are a royal pain.

 

I send all my friends to AB for the gaskets. Also buy a new t/stat and if your bleeder screw is still located on the upper radiator and not the new black plastic tee, then replace that hose assembly, it has a very high failure rate.
