Headlight malfunction ?

Unhappy Headlight malfunction ?

Hello Forum,

My 2000 Disco II, is having a headlight issue.
When I turn on the headlight, there is light showing but, ABSOLUTELY no light beeming out to the road. I cant drive after dark because I have no light beeming out to road.

Assistance anyone ... ?

I had the same problem.Check your connections at the headlights.I jiggled the wires a little and they stareted working again.This is a short term fix,I am eventually going to have to do some further investigating.

Check your bulbs, there are "city" lights in the headlight housings that are on as long as your lights are on, they are very dim.
When your head lights burn out all you will see if the city lights.

this is correct they cast a beam bright enough so that no one will hit you, but are not strong enough to light the road. if you look at to headlights if the light is being cast from the side rather than the dead center it meens that your low beam are not working at all, what you are seeing is the "city lights"
