just a crazy idea: i know a headlight for a 2003 SE7 WILL NOT FIT a disco I. but can it be modified to fit??

Well you can do a DI to DII headlight converstion and a '03/04 to a '02 (for example) converstion.
There is somebody on here with the instructions on how to convert DII headlights to a DI, he will give them to you for free.
I do not remember who it is though, sorry.

 

I have seen the 2003 lights on a disco 1 before. I all that i saw from the outside mods is that they cut away a circle under the light but as for inside or wiring i cant help you there. But it looks cool.
