I have heard a rumor that all SE Discovery's have heated seat elements already built in, they just need to have the switches installed. Is this true? I read about this when looking at Disco parts and one man said that his was already equipped he just had to add the switches.

 

I would pull up the bottom seat cover and see if it is in there. I was told Discoverys with leather seats, all have elements but mine did not, It is a SD. atlantic british sells a seat heater activation kit for 99-02 for $36.95 , 03-04 for $69.95. I bought the activation kit for mine now I need to buy the elements.

how do i lift up the seat pads to check?

 

Press down on the seat cushion and then unhook the black plastic strip from the seat frame.
