Default Heated Seats

Hi All

I have just purchased an Oct 2003 Disco II. I have been enjoying driving it on roads and am waiting to order some AT so I can go playing in the mud. I have been looking around the forum and found the posts regarding heated seats so I have been doing some searching on the Internet regarding Disco's with heated seats & half leather - suede seats which mine has and they are for sale in that configuration so my question is if I purchase the following
http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/2004A.cfm

Will the heated seats work ??

Also I have taken some pic's of the underneath of my seats and I have a Yellow cable under each which is connected into the wiring loom

If you have leather faced seats, you will have the heater units in your seats and yes, all you need would be the switchs and new face plates.
Boy, do they make a difference.

I think you are out of luck, but I could be wrong on this one. What happens if you put an OHM meter to the wires, do you get a reading or does it not give a reading as if the wires were not plugged into anything?

Just got home and my seat heater switches have arrived. I'll install them tonight and have toasty buns in the AM!

Looks like there will be a few more warm buns in the Rovers soon.

I've ordered my switches and replacment panel, kind of hoping they arrive for the weekend but I think it will be more like next week I have also ordered the 7 pin & 13 euro pin cables for the tow bar

Just kind of hope it works......

Has anyone found a steering guard for a Disco II that has build in recovery points because I have found them for Disco I but everyone keeps saying buy a ARB Bumper for the recovery points
