Default Heated seats, anyone thought of.....

Getting ones for the rear passengers ??? Was wondering about that last automn, while I had my head gasket job done by the local dealer, they lent me an LR3 and it had front and rear heated seats which my daughters really liked. Right now, when winter comes Iput sheepskins on the rear seats, but was wondering if it would work if I got front seats heating elements and install them at the back with proper wiring and either get them to work with the front seats switches, or their own switch.

Please share your thoughts, good or bad

I've only flipped them up 1 or 2 times and don't remember there being a lot of room under there. It is an interesting idea... if you live where it gets cold enough. Would make for a nice addition being up there in Canada though!!

There are aftermarket seat heater kits available. Google search and you will find some. Use some large gauge wire with a fuse at the source of power. You don't want to start a fire. Also make sure it is a power source that shuts off with the key.

Kits that already exist hmmm! will definitely need to look this up. Good idea Spike, but would like to make it stock looking.
