Default Heated windshield problem

Hi, I did a little searching but did not find anyone with this specific problem.

I tried my heated windshield the other day and only about 10% of it worked...all of that 10% on the drivers side. There was a few inches just to the left of the steering wheel and another inch or two to the right of the steering wheel.

I've seen posts about checking fuses, but as far as that driver side, if part of it works, what could be keeping the other parts from not working?

I didn't see in the posts where to look other than the corners under the hood.

Thanks!

check under the hood to make sure that the relay is fully pressed into position. Then I<d suggest you clean the plug-in on each side.

Thanks...I checked both of those areas and they both looked pretty clean and the fuses were good and pushed in.

Any other ideas on why only parts of the heated windsheild work (primarily Driver side)?

Thanks!

Well, what I'd do now, is use a multi meter to make sure that current is making its way to the windshield.
